The Kitchen offers homemade pizzas every day, Mondays to Thursdays 4pm to 8pm and Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 8.30pm.
The Kitchen also caters for the Edmundbyers Lunch Club, once a month through the summer and twice a month in the winter. Please call or email for dates and to book for the two course lunch which is all freshly homemade. All dietary requirements can easily be accommodated with notice.
A unique atmosphere
For guests staying in the Hostel, The Kitchen can provide cooked or continental breakfasts and/or evening meals, but only when booked well in advance.
Also available for overnight guests is our self-service breakfast fridge containing bread for toasting, butter, marmalade and milk for the tea and coffee, and all for just £1 per person.
In the summer months The Kitchen operates a catering van in the car park on Saturdays and Sundays, usually from 10am to 4pm, offering a selection of hot and cold sandwiches and homemade ice cream. The homemade ice cream is available year round from the Hostel.
Anyone visiting The Baa or Hostel on a Friday evening is in for a treat, courtesy of The Kitchen. They provide free food every Friday from around 6.30pm, and when it's gone, it's gone! It might be a curry or a pie, a risotto or a lasagna, whatever it is it will be fresh, homemade and delicious.
The Kitchen can also cater for special events, just come and talk through with us whatever you would like.
